S+T+ARTS Aqua Motion Final Event
25th September | Viana do Castelo, Portugal
Between September 25th and October 11th, Viana do Castelo transforms into a living laboratory to show how art, science, and technology can help us observe, understand, and imagine the future of water.
After several months of research, experimentation, and creation in the territory, the five S+T+ARTS AQUA MOTION artistic residencies are now open to the public with a program of activities that explores different spaces and landscapes of the municipality.
From the Lima River to the Atlantic, passing through the Environmental Monitoring and Interpretation Center (CMIA), the Veiga de São Simão, Praia Norte and the future Viana STARTS Center, artists and the community are invited to share different ways of observing, listening to and
experiencing aquatic ecosystems through performances, workshops, walks, cinema, gastronomy,
environmental data and collaborative creation processes.
